HacktionLab activity excitement in November

HacktionLab, the tech-activist collective that I've been involved in for a couple of years, has recently published a booklet aimed at non-technical people, be them grass-roots activists, those from NGOs, or just the person in the street concerned about their on-line privacy and security. On top of this, the weekend before last, I was up in Bradford at the amazing 1-in-12 Club taking part in HacktionLab's seventh national tech-activist gathering.  Was great to see everyone and take part in some really interesting workshops, discussions and curry eating!  The food provided was excellent, the beer at the 1-in-12 was good and cheap, and we even had the legendary Zounds playing downstairs on the Saturday night!
